Tom Hardy set to release collab album with underground hip-hop collective Czarface

The actor is collaborating with Czarface – the East Coast supergroup made up of producer 7L, rapper Esoteric, and Wu-Tang Clan‘s Inspectah Deck – for ‘Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer,’ with Hardy’s rap persona being Frankie Pulitzer, AKA Face Puller.

Method Man will also make an appearance on the new album, along with El-O and Busta Rhymes. Hardy previewed the LP on Thursday (June 25) with new single ‘Brothers Grimm’, which, over a ‘90s hip-hop beat, sees Czarface’s Inspectah Deck and Esoteric spit their verses before Hardy comes in, rapping: “Came with blood in a flash you get dashed / Karambit to jugular femoral to the gambit / Arterial spray from the carotid to the ceiling.”

While it might seem a big pivot for the Venom star, Hardy has long been involved with rap, and back in 2011, revealed that he had actually got a record deal when he was 15, and ended up recording “loads of stuff” that was never released – until ‘Falling on Your Arse’ mixtape was leaked in 2018.
