“[Where did it start to unravel for the Kings?] See, they got off to a great start. Then, taking on the bowlers right after the powerplay. Getting to 222 was a commendable performance. We were not able to take much wickets with the ball, but yeah, I think the match was lost in the powerplay.
[2 down in powerplay makes chasing big total difficult] Absolutely. We were three down. Majority of our top-scorers were Prabh and Priyansh. The start they used to give us, they could not get it this time. Also me coming in and getting out early. Really disappointed. Commendable performance from Shashank and Stoinis and also a few others in the middle. I think we were up there with almost 10 an over but yeah fell short. Tremendous bowling from Bhuvi and Hazlewood.
[On taking positives to Lucknow from this game] Definitely, I am always positive. Irrespective of the results. It doesn’t dictate how my personality is. And, I always approach with a positive attitude. And, I am not someone to dwell too much in the past. This is done, this is gone. Tomorrow again, I am going to see the sun rise and ther’s always light at the end of the tunnel.”
