KKR vs GT IPL 2026 Highlights: Gujarat Titans never really looked capable of posing a serious challenge to the target of 248 set by Kolkata Knight Riders for them despite having Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler and Sai Sudharsan in the middle for a majority of the chase. Sudharsan was forced to retire hurt after getting off to a good start but came back after Gill fell towards the latter stages of the innings. He finished unbeaten on 53 off 28 while Gill fell on 84 off 49. Jos Buttler fell on 57 off 29. Sunil Narine was the star once again for KKR, finishing with figures of 2/29 while Saurabh Dubey and Cameron Green got a wicket each.
Cameron Green and Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s fifties helped KKR compile a score of 247 for the loss of two wickets in 20 overs, amid a slew of dropped catches from the Gujarat Titans. Finn Allen was dropped by Mohammed Siraj when was on 33 off 17 balls and has since gone on to blaze past 50 in just 21. Raghuvanshi at the other end rotated strike efficiently to keep the momentum going for KKR.
Once Allen fell, Raghuvanshi took over and Green joined the party soon thereafter. Raghuvanshi finished off unbeaten on 82 off 44 balls, Green was on 52 off 28 when the players walked back for the innings break. The pair had put up a stand of 108 runs in 53 balls for the third wicket. Shubman Gill earlier won the toss and chose to bowl first at the Eden Gardens.
