Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.

At the outset, the day all belonged to Pathiratne and Akila Dananjaya whose 3 for 17 off only 5 overs as the former leading Sri Lanka spinner continued his superb wicket taking form in a long run despite being ignored by the national selectors, put Dambulla in control with only Sri Lanka youth batting sensation Sharujan Shanmuganathan playing a sheet anchor 44 off 68 with 7 boundaries for Colombo in enhancing constant performances for big time national recognition.
