Things could have been a lot worse for Sri Lanka if not for the 146 run stand for the sixth wickets between Dickwella and Dinusha. India may not have enforced the follow on in a bid to give bowlers a breather. If not for the partnership Sri Lanka would have faced certain defeat. They are still with a chance to draw the game.
