Galle’s Sri Lankan spin prodigy DunitYh Wellalage spun a 4-wicket web around Dambulla who were tottering on 26 for 6 chasing 251 to win on the penultimate day of the 4-day Sri Lanka Cricket National Super League Tournament match yesterday at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.

Wellalage’s effort with the ball was in nearing a match winning all-round performance having scored 44 in Galle’s second innings 244.

Skipper Sahan Arachchige was unbeaten on 29 when he declared.
