“We were a bit unlucky”: Rohit Sharma highlights one disappointment from India’s 6-wicket win over Prime Minister’s XI

Rohit Sharma was delighted with Team India’s performance in the pink-ball warm-up match against the Prime Miniter’s XI ahead of the Adelaide Test against Australia. India defeated the rivals by six wickets at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. Rohit rued the fact that the first day of the contest was lost due to rain.

The 37-year-old said that the Indian team tried to make full use of the time they had in the match.
“The outcome was fantastic. We got what we wanted as a group. But we were a bit unlucky as an entire day was lost due to rain and we didn’t get a chance to play the whole match. But whatever we got, we tried to make the most of it,” Rohit said after the match.
Rohit was also happy to see the massive crowd that came to cheer for the Indian team in a warm-up match.

“We love the fans coming to see us. There has never been a time when we came to this part of the world and were not backed and supported by fans. It is nice to see their support for us,” he added.

Rohit failed with the bat and scored just three runs off 11 balls while batting at the No.4 slot.
