We at the Go For Gold website led by its cricket loving owner Lakith Peiris, are saddened by the sudden demise of Suranga Wellalage, father of Sri Lankan cricketer Dunith Wellalage while he was in the midst of a cricket tour representing his country at the ongoing Asia Cup in the UAE.
We unreservedly extend our heartfelt sympathies to this young cricketing all-rounder of great promise, and his family members.
We do salute his late father for his contribution to the game of cricket during his hey day having captained Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa in 1992.
