The Six Kings Slam will be returning for its second edition later this year and six major names have been confirmed for the tournament, including Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Early last year, Saudi Arabia revealed their plans to host a star-studded exhibition event featuring some of the world’s top players. In the event’s inaugural edition that took place in Riyadh, the tournament organizers lured Djokovic, Sinner, Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune to participate.
This year, three names mentioned names above are returning. They will be joined by three other top-10 stars – Alexander, Zverev, Jack Draper and Taylor Fritz. This year’s tournament edition will take place between October 15-18.
Last year, Sinner beat Djokovic in the semifinal, while Alcaraz defeated Nadal. In the final, the Italian beat the Spaniard and went home with a stunning $6 million.
When it comes to those who didn’t make the title match, every played earned $1.5 million for just participating. While this year’s prize money hasn’t yet been revealed, it is safe that participants will leave Riyadh with a huge payday.
