A medical examiner has confirmed new details regarding Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff’s tragic death.
According to online records from the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office viewed by E! News March 28, Pamela—who shared daughters Taylor Hasselhoff-Fiore, 34, and Hayley Hasselhoff, 32, with ex David Hasselhoff—was confirmed to have died by suicide in her California residence.
The confirmation of Pamela’s cause of death comes as her daughter Taylor shared a post to her Instagram Story March 28, with several vintage photos of her mom, adding, “Obsessed with you, Mom.”
In a statement issued earlier this month, the Baywatch actress’ family confirmed Pamela died March 5.
“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” David said in a statement to TMZ March 6. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Although David and Pamela—who were married from 1989 to 2006—had a contentious divorce, the late 62-year-old had expressed love for the Knight Rider star and appreciation for what their 17-year marriage brought her.
“I’ve always loved him and always will,” Pamela told the Associated Press in 2006, “and have love and compassion for him. It’s a very, very sad day, but a day to move on.”
Meanwhile, Taylor—who welcomed daughter London with husband Madison Fiore in August—also later expressed her grief in a March 13 Instagram Story.
“I’d do anything in the world to hug you again, my forever angel,” she wrote to her mom. “You are my best friend, my whole heart, my everything. I promise to make you proud & celebrate you every day.”
The 34-year-old went on to emphasize that she will keep her mother’s memory alive for her 7-month-old.
“London will know all about how incredible you are & I promise I will protect Hayley forever,” she added. “Mama, I love you so much, the pain is unbearable, but I will be strong for you & hold onto your memory until we meet again my beautiful.”
