Kourtney Kardashian is standing her ground when it comes to her youngest son’s privacy.
After a debate emerged over the Lemme founder’s decision to hide her and husband Travis Barker’s toddler Rocky Thirteen Barker’s face on social media, Kourtney subtly weighed in.
The commentary began when the Kardashians star shared a Halloween-themed photo dump on Instagram Oct. 17, which included a pic of Rocky, 23 months, behind the wheel of a vintage car with a jack-o-lantern graphic superimposed over his face.
“Still acting like we care,” one use wrote, “what the kid looks like.”
In response, fans quickly came to Kourtney’s defense, with one telling the hater, “This is a sign you care btw.”
The reply even received a stamp of approval from Kourtney, who showed her appreciation by liking the comment.
Unlike Rocky, Kourtney’s older kids Mason Disick, 15, Penelope Disick, 13, and Reign Disick, 10—who she shares with ex Scott Disick—have often appeared on her social media as well as on her family’s reality shows Keeping Up With the Kardashians and in recent years, The Kardashians.
Travis, who has posted pics of his stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 26, and kids Landon Barker, 22, and Alabama Barker, 19—whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler—on social media throughout the years and also appeared with them on the reality series Meet the Barkers—has offered insight into his and Kourtney’s decision to maintain Rocky’s privacy.
“Unfortunately, someone finally got a photo of him,” he told the Wall Street Journal about their son, who has been photographed by paparazzi, in an interview posted in September 2024, “but we’d rather keep him out of the spotlight.”
The Blink-182 drummer added, “If I could do everything different, I would have done the same thing with my [older] kids. I think it’s weird to grow up and you’re 15 or 12, and you’re like, ‘Mom, you posted this of me?’”
