Kamil Mishara, Sri Lanka white ball discovery, struck an emphatic 91 missing out close on a dream ton as NCC scored 301 for 9 declared with skipper Sahan Arachchige making 64 and Kavin Bandara 38 in reply to Kurunegela YCCs 217 on day two of their SLC Major League match yesterday at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium.
Kurunegela were 40 for 1 wicket in their second innings at stumps.
Kurunegela’s wicket takers in that NCC offensive were Lahiru Jayaratna 3 for 54, Dinushka Malan 2 for 70, Chamikara Edirisinghe 2 for 104 and Sameera Sadamal 2 for 49.
