John Abraham calls Abhishek Bachchan ‘most well brought up’, says Hrithik Roshan is the ‘nicest guy’

John Abraham isn’t just one of the top actors in the Hindi film industry; he has also produced films, launching newcomers into Bollywood. Among the most notable are Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam, whom he introduced in Vicky Donor. In a recent interaction, John admitted that launching outsiders in the industry feels very ‘personal’ to him, as he himself entered the industry as an outsider. However, he also emphasized that casting is ultimately about who fits the role best, regardless of whether they are insiders or outsiders.

During an interaction with Zoom, John spoke about his equation with star kids and revealed that he studied with many of them in the same school. He shared, “I love people from the industry. In fact, one of my best co-stars is Abhishek Bachchan. I say this in all honesty, he is the most well-brought-up, good human beings that I have the honour of working with. I know Hrithik since school days. He was my classmate in school and he was one of the nicest boy. Uday Chopra was also my classmate too.”

He added, “So many people who were from my school are in the industry. Ranbir Kapoor was my junior, Aditya Chopra was my senior. Aamir Khan was my super senior. We have been from the same school and it has been wonderful seeing and learning from them.”

John also acknowledged that people from the industry naturally have a certain ease and confidence due to their familiarity with the business. ” They have great attitude but it also stems from the fact that they know whearabouts in the industry. I learn a lot about these people,” he said.

John’s latest film, The Diplomat, is currently running in theatres. The film has earned Rs 26.55 crore at the box office in 11 days since its release. He plays real-life Indian diplomat JP Singh in the film, which he has also co-produced. Up next, John has two films in the pipeline—Tehran and Tariq—though their release dates have yet to be confirmed.
