Jannik Sinner assessed the court conditions at the Davis Cup finals after Italy progressed to the Davis Cup title semi-finals.
Less than a week after winning the ATP Finals for the first time, the 23-year-old is in Malaga representing his country at the prestigious team event.
He was in fine form as the defending champions defeated Argentina 2-1 to reach the Davis Cup final four and the World number one played an integral role in their success.
Up next Italy will take on Australia, who defeated the United States 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

Jannik Sinner had little time to adjust to the courts at the Davis Cup finals after flying to Malaga later than most players due to his participation in the ATP Finals.
The court is faster than most used throughout the season and the reigning Australian and US Open champion did not have much time to practice on it.
Despite the lack of preparation time, Sinner, who has had an extraordinary 2024 season, delivered for his country.
“Very different conditions, the court is very fast & tough to play,” the two-time Grand Slam champion said during his on-court interview.
“I haven’t had so much time to adapt to these conditions but I’m happy about today. The most important was to keep Italy alive. Now in doubles, everything can happen.”
