Jake Paul and his manager accused Floyd Mayweather of ghosting them on a previous fight offer just days after Mayweather claimed he sent 10-20 offers.
Floyd Mayweather and the Paul brothers have an extensive history dating back to when Mayweather faced Logan Paul in an exhibition in 2021. Four years later, Mayweather and Jake Paul are going at it over a potential boxing clash.
Paul and Mayweather are two of the most polarizing personalities in boxing history. After Paul and Mayweather got into a heated altercation ahead of the Logan Paul/Mayweather fight, the two sides seemed destined for a booking.
Mayweather has repeatedly dismissed Paul as an ‘easy fight’ when asked about making a bout come to fruition. The 50-0 professional boxer has transitioned to exhibitions after retiring in 2017.
But after Paul accused Mayweather of ducking him, the Boxing Hall of Famer felt compelled to hit back.
Jake Paul’s team responds to Floyd Mayweather’s ’10 offers’ claim
During a recent interview with US Weekly, Mayweather responded to Paul’s ducking allegations.
“We offered Jake Paul the fight probably 10 or 20 times and he turned us down,” Mayweather said of Paul. “So that’s bull—-.”
Paul and his team quickly responded to Mayweather’s allegations and quickly denied the narrative that they were the ones who turned down a booking.
In a recent Instagram comment, Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian responded to Mayweather’s claims.
