Ex-player accuses Team India’s management of mistreating top performer in T20Is
Aakash Chopra has questioned India’s team management’s decision to change Rinku Singh’s batting position now and then. He mentioned that Rinku Singh did not receive fair treatment from the captain and the coaches. Aakash felt that the southpaw should have batted at the No.4 position in the first T20I against South Africa on November 8 in Durban.
Rinku scored 11 runs off 10 balls at No.6 as India amassed 202/8. The Men in Blue restricted the Protest to 141 to register a 61-run win.
Are we treating him fairly? He has been a part of the team for a long time and has scored runs in the powerplay overs,” Aakash Chopra said.
