Elle Fanning attended The Museum of Modern Art’s 17th Annual Film Benefit presented by Chanel on Wednesday in New York, which also served as a tribute to Sofia Coppola. She wore a spring 2026 Chanel look by Matthieu Blazy and a pair of Christian Louboutin‘s most recent heel designs on her feet.
Fanning opted for Louboutin’s Miss Z pump, which was released in January and has become a celebrity favorite. The heels feature a tapered silhouette that’s set on a 100mm stiletto heel that helps showcase the bright red Louboutin sole. The Miss Z pump features the maison’s new “Everlasting Red” sole, made with an innovative coating technique that ensures resistance and lasting vibrancy for the signature red sole.
The shoe features a low-cut vamp revealing the foot, while the wider toe box provides a better fit and more comfort as compared to the brand’s popular So Kate pumps. The Miss Z retail for $1,095 and are now available in a variety of styles.
The shoe model the actress opted for is crafted from gold-colored metallic leather that is not currently available on the brand’s website. The mirror-like effect of the shoes gave her elegant ensemble a more contemporary and youthful feel.
She paired the shoes with a midi-length skirt with a matching long-sleeve top with a crew neckline and a matching midi skirt, which allowed her shoes to shine through. The ensemble was Look 22 from the Chanel spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection and was made from a cream-colored, highly textured, shimmering fabric that paired well with her blond locks. She accessorized the look with a Chanel spring 2026 bag in an off-white color with gold accents and Cartier rings.
Fanning was in attendance to celebrate the 17th year of the MoMA Film Benefit, which raises money for the acquisition and preservation of key film works and provides funding to support the museum’s groundbreaking film exhibitions. The event, which is presented by Chanel, honored Academy Award-winning writer, director, and producer Sofia Coppola this year.
