The third installment in Rian Johnson’s critically acclaimed whodunit franchise, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, is about to make its Netflix debut following a successful limited theatrical release. Daniel Craig’s Detective Benoit Blanc is back to solve his toughest case yet, supported by yet another star-studded ensemble, including the likes of Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, and Jeffrey Wright. Craig’s suave, 21st-century 007 helped usher in a new generation of Bond fans, as well as helping make Casino Royale a huge hit with critics. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the movie scored an impressive 94%, with the consensus reading, “Casino Royale disposes of the silliness and gadgetry that plagued recent James Bond outings, and Daniel Craig delivers what fans and critics have been waiting for: a caustic, haunted, intense reinvention of 007.” A synopsis for the movie reads:
