Colombo North U-15s and Kandy U-15s recorded wins in their Sri Lanka Youth League U-15 Prima Cricket Tournament matches played yesterday.
Colombo North made a 1 wicket win over Colombo South in their match played at Colombo University grounds while Kandy made 228 for 6 wickets in their 50 overs defeated Galle U-15s by 85 runs in their match played at MCA grounds yesterday.
Randidu Narayana the opener made 53 while Imanjith Dissanayake hit an unbeaten 57 in 50 balls with 2 fours and a six to guide Kandy to 228 for 6 wickets while Galle chasing their target were all for 143 in 47.4 overs. Thinulaka Rajapaksa and skipper Lakindu Mewul took 3 wickets each.
