After the last ODI which Sri Lanka lost by 16 runs, Kusal Mendis was asked to bat deep. He had cruised to a 20 ball 50 before throwing away his wicket. Today, he put a splendid effort. Walked in to bat in the fourth over and carried on till 46th to finish with 124.
