After K.L. Rahul, another Indian player suffers injury in the net session

Ahead of the fourth Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, India captain Rohit Sharma was hit on his left knee during net session on Sunday, December 22. Rohit suffered an injury when he was facing throwdown specialist and the ball hit him on the knee.

The injury comes four days ahead of the important game against the host nation. The ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is levelled at 1-1 and both teams will push for a win in the remaining two matches. India have won two consecutive Test series Down Under under the captaincy of Virat Kohli and Ajinkya
The hope to take a lead might be under serious threat if captain Rohit is impacted by the recent injury. He was seen applying an ice pack on his knee after leaving the nets in Melbourne.
Earlier, India opener KL Rahul was hit on his hand on Saturday. He was given treatment by the team’s physio. Rahul was in pain at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
