Ahead of the fourth Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, India captain Rohit Sharma was hit on his left knee during net session on Sunday, December 22. Rohit suffered an injury when he was facing throwdown specialist and the ball hit him on the knee.
The injury comes four days ahead of the important game against the host nation. The ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is levelled at 1-1 and both teams will push for a win in the remaining two matches. Earlier, India opener KL Rahul was hit on his hand on Saturday. He was given treatment by the team’s physio. Rahul was in pain at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
