Sabrina Carpenter just did her big one.
On Friday, April 10, the “Juno” singer performed 20 songs at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., as the first night’s headliner. She transformed the festival into her own version of the Hollywood Hills, complete with a “Sabrinawood” sign for her 90-minute set.
Carpenter, 26, was seen in a vintage vehicle as the performance opened with a black-and-white film featuring Landman star Sam Elliott as a police officer.
Other surprise cameos in her set included Will Ferrell as an electrician and the voice of Samuel L. Jackson as a spiritual guide.
During an interlude, Susan Sarandon portrayed an older version of the “Espresso” singer, while her former Girl Meets World costar Corey Fogelmanis played a waiter at a drive-thru theater.
“I can’t believe I’m headlining Coachella!” said Carpenter early on in her set. “I mean, I can a little bit, but it’s nicer to say that, right?”
Carpenter mostly performed songs from her latest studio albums, Man’s Best Friend and Short ‘n Sweet.
Among the songs was “We Almost Broke Up Last Night” performed live for the first time.

Though this marks her first headlining slot, Carpenter made her performance debut at the music festival in 2024.
At the time, her stage followed a blue motel aesthetic and she sang “Espresso” live for the first time on its release date.
Two years later, Carpenter has released two hit studio albums: Short n’ Sweet and Man’s Best Friend.
Days before her headlining performance, Carpenter appeared on the cover of Perfect magazine and sat down with Marc Jacobs to tease her performance.
“It’s the most ambitious show I’ve ever done,” said Carpenter. “It’s probably the most time I’ve ever had to actually just sit down and talk about a show as I’m building it.”
She continued, “Most of the time, you’re really quickly thrust into physical rehearsals, but this time around we started this process around seven months ago. So it’s been a long journey. It will be very special.”
Also ahead of her performance, Carpenter released the music video for her hit “House Tour,” featuring appearances by Madelyn Cline and Margaret Qualley.
In addition to Carpenter, Coachella will feature headlining performances by Justin Bieber, Karol G and Anyma.
