Italy’s Tommaso Menoncello and France’s Louis Bielle-Biarrey are in the running to be voted Guinness Men’s Six Nations Player of the Championship for a second time.
It is the third time that Italian centre Menoncello, who won the award in 2024, has been nominated, while French try-scoring sensation Bielle-Biarrey is hoping to go back-to-back, having been honoured in 2025. Bielle-Biarrey broke his own record for most tries in a single championship, scorching home nine times.
Ireland great Brian O’Driscoll, France captain Antoine Dupont and disgraced former Scotland player, Stuart Hogg, are the only other people to have won it multiple times.
Stuart McCloskey, a key cog in the Ireland midfield, is rewarded for his tireless workrate, and ability to come up with try assists, with a nomination. He is bidding to become the first Irish winner since Jacob Stockdale in 2018.
Ever-consistent Scotland wing, Kyle Steyn, makes up the quartet. Hamish Watson was the last Scottish winner in 2021.
All of the shortlisted players, except for Steyn, were ever-presents throughout the championship, clocking up the full 400 minutes. Steyn only missed 13 minutes of action.
The winner of the 2026 Guinness Men’s Six Nations Player of the Championship will be decided by a public vote, with fans invited to have their say and recognise the player they believe made the greatest impact.
