India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2026 Boycott Controversy Highlights: The International Cricket Council (ICC) have reportedly warned the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that it could face legal action from official broadcasters over their boycott of the T20 World Cup 2026 group stage match against India on February 15. The report also stated that the ICC could sanction Pakistan by withholding their entire annual revenue share of USD 35 million (approx. Rs 316 crore). An ‘isolated’ Pakistan reached out to other cricket boards but did not find any support for their stance, according to sources. Amidst the controversy, the Pakistan squad landed in Colombo, ahead of their first T20 World Cup game against Netherlands. If Pakistan go ahead with the boycott, they can suffer major financial sanctions and can even end up facing suspension from the competition.
