England have announced their playing XI for the first ODI against Sri Lanka, scheduled for tomorrow at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Zak Crawley returns to the ODI side for the first time since December 2023, bringing experience to the top order alongside Joe Root, Jacob Bethell, and Ben Duckett. Harry Brook will lead the team as captain, while Jos Buttler will keep wicket.
The spin department will be led by Adil Rashid, supported by Liam Dawson as the second spinner. All-rounders Sam Curran and Jamie Overton add balance to the side, with Will Jacks rounding out the batting and bowling options.
