World Athletics has announced that ALL THREE ROUNDS of the women’s 100 meters – including the final will be held on the same day at the Los Angeles Olympics

The morning session on July 15th, 2028 will feature the women’s 100m prelims (the round that features universality athletes from many smaller countries) and the women’s 100m first round.

The evening session will have the women’s 100m semifinal and final to close out the session.

Day 1 will also feature the women’s shot put final and men’s 10,000m final.
