MeadowLea as official sponsor of SL Women’s Team for World Cup an empowerment of women – Hiranth Fernando, Consultant Sales & Marketing, Pyramid Wilmar

“MeadowLea’s entry to empower our team during the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 also gives them the ideal platform to promote its brand to its desired audience,” commented Upul Nawaratne Bandara, Head of Marketing, Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday in announcing Sri Lanka Cricket partnering with MeadowLea as the official Sri Lanka Women’s Team sponsor for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
Bandara, delivering the keynote address yesterday at the Sinhalese Sports Club auditorium at the media briefing, while welcoming the audience with special mention of the Meadow Lea officials present as well as the media on behalf of Sri Lanka Cricket, emphasised that it was a special occasion to recognising the official sponsor Meadow Lea, and that it would be a significant exposure for the sponsor company in joining hands with Sri Lanka Cricket to sponsoring the Sri Lanka Women’s Cricketers for the world showpiece event. In that perspective SLC was ‘truly honoured to have such a sponsorship going, and thankful to Meadow Lea for tying up with SLC.’
