At the annual cricket awards yesterday, SLC recognized the services of Mr. Chandra Schaffter, oldest living Sri Lankan cricketer, Mr. Ranjit Fernando, a member of the 1975 World Cup team, Mr. Stanley Jayasinghe, who represented Leicestershire, and Janaka Pathirana. The first three managed Sri Lankan cricket teams at various junctures.
