Sri Lanka’s athletes showcased their talent and determination at the Taiwan Athletics Open 2025, earning two impressive podium finishes.
In the women’s javelin throw, Dilhani Lekamge secured the silver medal with a remarkable throw of 56.62 metres, further solidifying her reputation as one of Sri Lanka’s premier field athletes.
On the track, Chamod Yodasinghe claimed the bronze medal in the fiercely contested men’s 100m final, finishing with a rapid time of 10.38 seconds, placing him among the top sprinters of the event.
These achievements highlight Sri Lanka’s growing presence and competitive spirit on the international athletics stage.
