Hrithik Roshan’s first movie, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, recently marked 25 years since its release. The film’s songs are still popular, especially Ek Pal Ka Jeena. Singer Lucky Ali, who sang the hit track, recently shared that Hrithik was initially hesitant to sing it.
Lucky Ali recently attended the 18th edition of the Kathakar International Storytellers Festival. Lucky Ali recalled the recording session of Ek Pal Ka Jeena from Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. He mentioned a particular lyric in the song and questioned Hrithik about singing it on screen, suggesting that it might seem amusing to the audience.
Lucky Ali further shared that Hrithik Roshan expressed his hesitation to his father, Rakesh Roshan, who directed the film. Hrithik told him he didn’t want to sing a particular word on screen. Laughing, Lucky recalled how Rakesh Roshan jokingly questioned him about what he was teaching his son.
‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ was re-released in cinemas on January 10, 2025, to celebrate Hrithik Roshan’s birthday. Even after decades of the original release, the movie garnered immense love, as it to date holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. The film also marked Ameesha Patel’s debut and featured actors like Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, and Farida Jalal. Fans got nostalgic, reminiscing about the iconic movie from 25 years ago.
