It seemed to be a low-scoring game after Odisha were bowled out for 180 and Services folded up for 199 in the first innings. But Odisha made 394 in the third innings, leaving Services to chase 376. Vashisht and Rohilla went to stumps on day three with the score at 46-0.
Services did not lose another wicket as they chased down the runs on the final day, in 85.4 overs. Vashisht remained unbeaten on 154 (246 balls, 15 fours, one six) and Rohilla on 209 (270 balls, 30 fours).
This is now the highest target chased by any side in a 10-wicket win, or indeed, the highest fourth-innings total by any side without losing a wicket. The record used to be with Sargodha, who made 332-0 to beat Lahore City in 1998-99.
Neither team managed to make it into the quart-final of the Ranji Trophy, with Services finishing fourth in Elite Group A, and Odisha coming sixth.
