The Indian Physical Disability Cricket Team etched its name in history with a resounding 79-run victory over England to claim the PD Champions Trophy 2025 title. The final, held at the FTZ Cricket Grounds in Katunayake, showcased India’s all-round dominance.
Spearheaded by Yogendra Bhadoria’s explosive batting and Radhika Prasad’s sensational bowling performance, India marched on to a dominant win in the finale, outfoxing the England team.

India, opting to bat first, posted an imposing 197/4 in their 20 overs, courtesy of a scintillating innings by Yogendra Bhadoria. The opener smashed a 40-ball 73, laced with four boundaries and five towering sixes, at a strike rate of 182.50. Bhadoria’s aggressive approach set the tone for India, as he dismantled England’s bowling attack, finding gaps and clearing the ropes with ease.
Contributions from the middle order ensured that India maintained momentum throughout the innings. Solid partnerships and quick running between the wickets added crucial runs to the scoreboard, putting England under immense pressure even before their chase began.
